Musician here, I’m looking to hire a remote booking agent / coordinator to book a small 6 piece mobile jazz band for birthdays, private home gigs, small events, etc. This would be commission-based and in the greater Boston area. Can be done remotely (you don't have to be from the area).
This role is short-term and task-based: finding local gig opportunities, ironing out the details and securing the booking on my behalf. I have all the details you would need to book the band. The booking agent would be the main point of contact with the prospective clients up until the booking is secured. After the booking is secured, I would take over as the main point of contact.
Scope of work includes:
Finding small gig opportunities
Coordinating basic logistics (time, setup, sound needs)
Reviewing and executing a simple performance contract
Communicating final details to me
Collecting payment via my Venmo or other method
Event types: Birthday parties, backyard parties, small event functions
Location: Boston area Massachusetts, North Shore, Southern New Hampshire
This can all be done remotely via email and/or phone. Prior experience booking live music is preferred. Each booking would be compensated $80 (or you can send me your rate)
